Caroline is a Florida licensed and ASHA
certified Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive pediatric
experience. When you call to discuss your child's specific needs you will immediately appreciate Caroline's enthusiasm, knowledge, and
concern.
Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Caroline earned her
Bachelor's degree (1995) in Speech Pathology from Oklahoma State
University then worked for the Leon County Schools in Tallahassee while
earning her Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology at Florida
State University. While at Florida State, Caroline worked as a
Graduate Assistant for Dr. Amy Wetherby at the FSU Center for Autism and
Related Disorders (CARD) providing support to families and schools
helping children with Autism. She then spent 5 years in Texas
successfully treating young children in their natural environments.
Caroline and her growing family relocated and established her Orlando
practice in
early 2005.
In addition to maintaining professional licensure, Caroline maintains CPR certification
and has training in a variety of specialized areas (e.g., Infant and Toddler
Feeding, Oral Motor therapy techniques, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS),
Alternative and Augmentative Communication, Sensory Processing
Disorders, early intervention in the natural environment, and Autism/Autistic Spectrum
Disorders). Caroline also has special interests in infant reflux (GERD),
breastfeeding, and early language development. Caroline integrates
information well and applies evidence based treatment to fit each
child's unique needs within the context of their family or childcare

Jennifer Hill, M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist
Jennifer is a Florida licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language
Pathologist who has been working in pediatrics for over 7 years. She
obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the
University of Washington in 1998. She went on to earn her Master’s
Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Washington in
2001. While a graduate student at UW, Jennifer worked as a research
assistant for Dr. Geraldine Dawson in the Autism Research Studies.
Throughout her schooling, she worked as an in-home behavioral therapist
for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). She has been trained
and has vast experience in working with children with ASD using method
of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Discrete Trial Training (DTT),
TEACHH, PECS, and Verbal Behavior.
In addition to her work with children with autism, Jennifer worked
for 6 ½ years at a pediatric outpatient speech/language clinic providing
assessments and therapy for children ages 2-18. At the clinic, she
worked with children with a variety of communication disorders including
Developmental Apraxia of Speech, Articulation and Phonological
Disorders, Expressive/Receptive Language Delays, Language Learning
Disabilities, Voice Disorders, Dysfluency/Stuttering, and Social
Communication Disorders. She provided individualized treatment as well
as running social skills groups. In addition, she enjoyed working
closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals working with the
child in order to promote generalized mastery of the skills taught into
various environments.
In August of 2007, Jennifer and her husband relocated to
Celebration, Florida. Jennifer currently works as the Speech Language
Pathologist for a K-8 grade school and was recently elected “New Teacher
of the Year” for 2007-2008. She has experience in developing
Individualized Education Plans and developing speech/language goals and
objectives that are educationally relevant and promote academic success
in the classroom.
Jennifer loves her job as a Speech Language Pathologist and gets true
satisfaction in helping children develop into their full potential. |
